HSENI Advice Document on Slurry Spreading

The HSENI have published an advice Document on Slurry Spreading. The Document details how to manage the gas hazard and physical hazard i.e. use of equipment.

It is worth noting that absence of smell is not a guide to the absence of gas as the sense of smell is lost at concentrations over 20 ppm.

The HSENI advises that just because it has not happened to you does not mean that it wont. Remember Stay Safe on the Farm.
