What is Patient Handling Training?

Patient Handling Training is particularly necessary for those working in Nursing Homes, Carers/Personal Assistants in the Home and anyone who works with persons with limited mobility or are recovering from illness and/or injury.

Incorrect handling of Patients can lead to back injury and other work related upper limb disorders which can have drastic consequences for the health and well being of workers in the Healthcare Sector.

Courses are run in conjunction with Manual Handling Training and are of one full day duration.
